Tariff Below are our tariff rates per room: All rooms are en suite, have flat screen TV with Freeview/DAB radio. Free Wi Fi Rooms available from: £70.00 per night Family Room : from: £110.00 (Consisting 1 Double, 1 single + cot (if required) Any guests wishing to occupy the whole of Orchard Cottage Guest House but not all rooms can do so by paying a £50 supplement on each unoccupied room. Terms & Conditions The terms and conditions set out the basis of your agreement with Orchard Cottage Guest House, none of which effect your statutory rights. Smoking Orchard Cottage Guest House is a non smoking facility. A sheltered area will be provided outside for those wishing to smoke. Animals Orchard Cottage Guest House is unable to accommodate pets. Arrivals/Departures Where every effort will be made to accommodate guests both on arrival and departure, access to a guest bedroom is not generally permissible before 12.00noon. Departure time is 10.00am. Breakages/Damages All breakages/damages need to be reported and, with the exception of normal wear and tear, must be paid for or replaced. Personal items are held on the property at the occupier’s own risk. Deposits. A 20% non returnable deposit is payable at the time of booking by cheque (payable to Orchard Cottage Guest House) or by bank transfer. Bookings are only considered confirmed on receipt of a deposit. The balance is payable by Bacs a week prior to arrival. Cancellation. Orchard Cottage Guest House has 5 en suite bedrooms. All cancellations must be confirmed by email or letter. A 50% cancellation charge will be payable for cancellations advised later than one week from arrival. A 75% cancellation charge will be payable for cancellations advised later than four days from arrival. In the event of a "no show" the full amount due is payable for whatever reason including illness and adverse weather conditions. Orchard Cottage Guest House recommend that all guests check their travel insurance policy prior to booking in this event. Group Wedding Bookings Orchard Cottage Guest House require all members of a group wedding booking to check in prior to attending the wedding reception. Changes to guest names will be accepted by email up to 12 noon on the day of arrival from the booking party contact only. Dickensian Weekends All guests wishing to book rooms during both Dickens weekends are requested to settle the room tariffs in full at the time of booking. We have been fortunate at Orchard Cottage Guest House to have enjoyed the company of guests since we opened. Guests are treated with respect amd warmth and are asked to also respect their fellow guests at all times. Guests may drink alcohol but not become drunk. The owners retain the right to refuse admission to any guest at any time during their stay for anti social behaviour.
